Zee Tamil acquires 'Soodhu Kavvuum'

Vijay Sethupathi starrer Soodhu Kavvum directed by Nalan Kumarasamy and Sanchita Shetty of Thillalangadi fame playing the female lead has been acquired by Zee Tamil. Post the success of Attakathi and Pizza, the film is produced by C V Kumar under his banner Thiru Kumaran and is expected to hit the screens by the end of April.
Vijay Sethupathi is now playing a 40-year-old in Soodhu Kavvum which has music by Santhosh Narayananan while the cinematography is being handled by Dinesh and editing is taken care by Leo John Paul.The film is a "serious comedy", says the debutant director, who earned his stripes as a short film maker and has also assisted Sundar C.
The satellite rights of Vasanth's Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal which is expected to hit the screens soon in March has also been bagged by Zee TV.
