Puriyatha Puthir Synopsis: Puriyatha Puthir is a Tamil psychological thriller film directed by Ranjit Jeyakodi and produced under Rebel Studio Productions. Vijay Sethupathi and Gayathrie feature in the leading roles. The cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan.Puriyatha Puthir was launched on 17 December 2013. After the first schedule which lasted for 26 days, 50 percent of the film had reportedly been completed. Filming was held at Fortis Healthcare, Vadapalani by mid-February. In June, the director informed that "about 10 -12 days of shooting" was remaining.
Puriyatha Puthir Movie Review {3/5}: Puriyaatha Puthir takes a while to get going, with the director taking quite a bit of time to set up the romance, which, while not bad, is rather flat. It doesn't help that Gayathrie's performance lacks the spark that we expect. Even Vijay Sethupathi seems to be on auto-pilot.
