I have roped in 40 violinists for the song: Vishal Chandrashekar
The team behind Yuvaraj Subramani’s Taana, starring Vaibhav and Nandita Swetha in the lead, has released the first single from the film — Nee Mayakkura. Composed by Vishal Chandrashekhar, the melody has been penned by Ku Karthik and sung by Sinduri. Interestingly, Vishal has used 40 violinists while recording the song.
The composer says, “Taana is a pucca commercial entertainer, with elements of action, horror, romance and comedy.

Vaibhav plays a cop, who’s troubled by some supernatural elements. It is a fun film and I have composed six tracks. Nee Mayakkura is the first single that has been released. It is a melody, a song that will have an 80s feel. I thought it will be great with violin support and roped in 40 violinists for the song.”
There is also another song that is dedicated to users of musical apps, informs Vishal. Meanwhile, the composer is busy with a slew of other films as well. “There’s Chanakya in Telugu (which is being directed by Thiru and stars Gopichand in the lead). I’m also composing music for Yogi Babu-Anjali-starrer in Tamil,” he signs off.
