Music: Devi Sri Prasad
Rating: ***
Sivas Veeram is touted to be a pucca mass film. And keeping the genre in mind, Devi Sri Prasad has come up an album that is high on beats and energy. The first in line is Nallavannu Sollvanga, sung by the composer himself. It starts with some thundering beats and maintains pace throughout. The lyrics play on Ajiths persona, and the song is a fitting beginning to the album.
Ival Dhaana in the voice of Shreya Ghoshal and Sagar is a soft romantic number with soothing background.
Thangame is a number that has triggered the music buffs interest for having been sung by Adnan Sami.
However, the track falls flat in many places and gives you a heard-before feel. Despite the efforts by Adnan and Priyadarshini, the number turns out to be a forgettable one.
Jing Jakkan, a folksy song by Pushpavanam Kuppusamy and
Magizhini, sticks to the rural theme of the film, and is a one-time listen. The theme,
Ratha Gaja, might accentuate the mood of the film on screen.
