Shruti Haasan, who made her singing debut at the age of 6 for the legendary composer Ilaiyaraaja in the National Award-winning film Thevar Magan, has once again sung in the composers upcoming film, Shamitabh. Interestingly, she is the voice of her sister Akshara Haasan, who is making her tinsel town debut with the film. The track is titled Sanatta.
"Sanatta brings back the duo - Shruti Haasan and Ilaiyaraaja five years after they worked together. What's more interesting is that Shruti made her singing debut at the age of six for one of her father Kamal Haasan's Tamil films -
Thevar Magan, for which the music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. And now after all these years, they've come together yet again to rule the chartbusting tracks list of this year with Sannata.
