Synopsis: You’ve got to be kidding when you pit yourself against a goon from the land of revenge. Balu (Sai Ram Shankar) has a philosophy and that is not to allow fear to overtake you. Confront it and carry on with life. In his case, it is not just about living a life but winning a wife for himself.

Movie Review: Swapna (Parvati Melton) has a kind heart and our playful wannabe hero in films dupes her in the US. She, however, gets to be amused by him as he claims to be a 'bhakta' of Yama, someone like him being a rarity. Swapna cannot but plan revenge for being cheated by Balu but thanks to 'Manmadha', who shoots his arrow, love eventually blossoms between Swapna and Balu.

Cut to the Rayalaseema. A big time goon has his eyes on Swapna. But Balu, being what he is, dares the goon. The movie keeps you occupied with the tricks Babu is up to in a bid to escape from what at that time seems to be coming is inevitable death. You’d want to forgive the director for some silly stuff that creeps into the film because at other times he has complete grip over his story and screenplay.

If you had the Telangana goons play anthyakshari in a police station with Pawan Kalyan in 'Gabbar Singh', what has you in splits in the movie is something similar. Thagubothu Ramesh makes an appearance as Einstein who can come up with an idea to handle any difficult situation. Unfortunately for him, his ideas flop and the villain cannot get his hand on Balu. At the villain’s mercy now Einstein is subject to his songs. And for the villain, singing is not singing. It is only telling you what the lyrics are. Sad for him, but Einstein prefers death to appreciating the villain’s `singing’.

Well then, what about the Yama part? If you prefer to watch the movie you’ll find out why Balu becomes his devotee but that also brings Yama (Srihari) and Chitragutpa (M S Narayana) to the US where some supposedly hilarious events unfold.

Sanjjanaa has got a brief role as Nisha, whom Balu saves from getting drowned in a suicide attempt – because she cannot find her dogs. She does her bit to fit into the role but did she also have to be so brief in her dressing? Srihari could have modulated his voice and made his performance 'sound' much better.

Sai Ram Shankar steals the show as he performs with ease – both in his role, dance and fights. But he should know it is the 'Statue of Liberty' and not 'Liberty of statue' in the US.
