Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Sukumar’s box office juggernaut Pushpa 2- The Rule is in no mood to leave the theaters anytime soon. The film has already completed over 50 days at the cinema halls across the globe, and has already become the biggest hit of Indian Cinema, but it wants to set a benchmark that is going to stay in the record books for many years to come.

At the end of 7 weeks, the film had minted Rs 1230.55 crore across languages, it was the second film in the history of Indian cinema to cross the Rs 1000 crore mark. One expected that the film, after spending so much time at the box office and seeing new releases every second or third week would lose steam, but the film has taken the dialogue ‘ Jhukega nahi sala’ seriously it seems!

On its 51st day, the film minted just Rs 30 lakh, but on 52nd day which was a Saturday, and was facing competition from Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya’s Sky Force. Despite that, the film saw a jump of over 65 % to collect Rs 50 lakh, thereby taking the collection of the film to Rs 1231.55 crore. Sky Force can be termed as the return of Akshay Kumar, as the film has crossed Rs 30 crore mark in 2 days and is expected to cross Rs 50 crore by the end of Sunday.

The film is expected to stay in the theaters next week as well, which will see the release of Shahid Kapoor’s Deva, which has been carrying a massive buzz. It would be interesting to see how Deva and Pushpa battle it out next week.
