Mehreen Pirzada starrer ‘Raja the Great’ is making a killing at the box office, raking in Rs 34.20 Cr worldwide by its first weekend.
The film has managed to beat the record of recently released Nagarjuna, Samantha and Seerat Kapoor starrer ‘Raju Gari Gadhi 2’. The film managed to collect Rs 33 Cr worldwide in ten days, and made good business in its second weekend too.
But ‘Raja the Great’ has reportedly raked in approximately Rs 34.20 Cr in the five-day extended weekend. The film has previously gotten in Rs 31.50 Cr from its global theatrical rights and earned Rs 20.95 Cr for its distributors in the first weekend. ‘Raja the Great’ has managed to recover 66.50% of its investments in five days.
The makers held a success meet about the same on Sunday and the film managed to hold its own on Monday too. On sixth day it collected Rs 3.2 Cr gross, with the Telugu states raking in Rs 1.76 Cr. Reports state that the worldwide gross is now expected to have crossed the Rs 40 Cr in six days. The area-wise breakup of the film is as given below:
