Sarkaru Vaari Paata: Mahesh Babu's film mints Rs 6 crore from premiere shows in the US

Director Parasuram Petla's much-anticipated action drama 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata', which features Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh together for the first time on screen, has opened with a bang at the box office. In the US, the film has already minted Rs 6 crore from its premiere shows and as per the film’s overseas distributor.

The film, which has been made on a budget of over Rs 6 crore, witnessed a grand worldwide release on Thursday worldwide in a record number of screens.The success of Mahesh Babu’s last release 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' had generated a massive hype for 'Sakaru Vaari Paata', and its promos had doubled the curiosity and expectations of the viewers. The distributors made huge plans for its release in a bid to cash in on Mahesh mania in the USA. They also held premiere shows on a large number of screens across the country. As expected, the movie witnessed a superb response in the preview shows.
'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' was originally supposed to be released in cinemas in January this year. However, the release got postponed due to the sudden spike in the number of Omicron-related cases in the country. Considering its hype and screen count, Maharshi was expected to beat the records of 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' and 'Bharat Ane Nenu', which are the biggest openers for Mahesh Babu.
