The Telugu supernatural mystery film, ‘Shambhala’ was released on Thursday amid the heavy festive release window. Directed by Ugandhar Muni, it stars Aadi Saikumar and collected slightly more than a crore on the second day.
According to a report by Sacnilk, the movie opened its box office run with Rs 1.5 crore and on the second day, it made over Rs 1.05 crore. This brings the film’s total to Rs 2.55 crore.
Theatre occupancy
Speaking of the film’s occupancy rate, it recorded an overall 38.48% Telugu occupancy. In the morning, it recorded 24.04%, which later increased to 35.93% during the afternoon shows. The evening shows then saw a further raised 41.55% and then peaked at 52.38% in the night.

The film has received decent reviews on social media during its release. An internet user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “1st half starts with a decent note. Ravi varma appears & the real story kickstarts massy till interval. 2nd half has a strong flashback storytelling. We can't back our bones. With Engaging emotional climax it's a worthy one.”
About the film
The film stars Vikram as a geoscientist who does not believe in God but in science. A village received a meteor fall in a small village, which disturbs the peace of the place as the villagers start acting weirdly. The villagers think something evil has come. They are full of superstitions. They believe ghosts and magic are the reason. But Vikram does not believe any of that. He only believes in science. So he comes to the village to study the meteor. He wants to find the truth.
The film also features Archana Iyerr, Madhunandan, Praveen, Annapoornamma, Swasika Vijay, Harsha Vardhan, Ravi Varma, Rangadham, Ayesha Mariam, Shivakarthik Danda and others.
