#19YearsForStudentNo1: Fans celebrate as they revisit classic

2001's film Student No 1 starring Jr NTR, Gajala and Rajeev Kanakala in the lead roles has completed 19 years of its release today. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film sees Jr NTR in the role of Aditya, who studies law while staying in jail and helps other prisoners and students lives around. Student No 1 has been termed as the most coming-f-age action entertainer in the Telugu cinema.Well, Jr NTR starrer completes 19 years of its release today and fans are celebrating it on Twitter by revisiting the cult classic.
Student No 1 also starred Brahmanandam, Ali, Sudha, Kota Srinivasa Rao, MS Narayana, Gundu Sudarshan, Ajay, Tanikella Bharani, Preeti Nigam and Sameer in supporting roles. K Raghavendra Rao and C Ashwini Dutt have backed the project under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies.
The music was beautiful and soulful. With a soundtrack that was given voice by a medley of the best artists of all time, Student No 1 undoubtedly has one of the best soundtracks of the new millennium. With music and lyrics by MM Keeravani and Chandrabose, the songs were sung by Udit Narayan, Tippu, late legendary SP Balu, KS Chitra and MM Keeravani. As Keeravani always does, he did a phenomenal job with the music and the score, and the music was widely loved.
