On the first day of the ‘Yuvagalam’ Padayatra initiated by Ex-Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh saw cousin Nandamuri Tarakaratna taking part and suffered a massive heart attack while preparing for the roadshow at the afternoon. Immediately he was rushed to the nearby PES hospital in Kuppam and later shifted to the Bengaluru hospital in a special ambulance on Friday midnight.His wife Alekhya Reddy and daughter is said to have came to the hospital on Friday night while
Taraka Ratna was still in PES.
On the day 1 morning of his Road Show, Taraka Ratna was competed by several fans for selfies at noon and he is said to have suffered a serious heart attack while the TDP party members caught him from falling and did the primary CPR at the Kuppam PES hospital.

Nandamuri Balakrishna and Hindupuruam MLA stayed with him in the Kuppam hospital until he was taken to Bengaluru for further treatment around 9 PM yesterday. JrNTR is said to have enquired about the situation and currently the treatment is going on under the supervision of Bangalore Hrudayalaya medical experts in Bengaluru.
It is reported that the Massive heart attack was due to the blockage of his left valve by 90% and his health is still stable at the moment in Bengaluru hospital However his BP is said to be normal and no need to worry.
Taraka Ratna made his film acting debut with ‘Okato Number Kurradu’ in 2002 under the direction of K. Raghavendra Rao and he is said to be looking to contest as an MLA under a TDP ticket next year in AP.
