Actress Shamna Kasim aka Poorna blessed with a baby boy

Shamna Kasim aka Poorna was blessed with a baby boy on Tuesday. The actress took to social media to share a sweet picture of her and her husband, UAE-based businessman Shanid Asif Ali, kissing the newborn, writing, “Blessed with a baby boy, thank u all for all the prayers and blessings. (sic)”

Congratulatory messages poured in for the actress from fans and celebs like Avika Gor after the announcement. The actress even shared a vlog on YouTube titled ‘Welcoming my new born’ which leads up to her delivery. It documents how she surrounded herself with family and loved ones as she went to the hospital on the due date. In the video the actress can be seen excited yet nervous for the life-changing moment. At the end of the video, her family announces that she’s been blessed with a healthy baby boy.
Poorna tied the knot with Shanid at a lavish wedding in Dubai after a whirlwind romance. The couple announced in December that they’re expecting their first child, sharing pictures from the traditional baby shower they threw for the actress on the occasion. The actress was last seen in Dasara, it remains to be seen what other projects she has signed.
