Adivi Sesh's Goodachari 2 confirmed, Trinetra 116 to return on-screens!

‘Goodachari’ fans rejoice because your absolute favourite agent Trinetra 116 is getting ready for a sequel.
Announced on Adivi Sesh’s birthday today, the press note reads, “#Goodachariwillbeback. #Trinetra116 is getting ready. #Goodachari2 Shoot begins in mid-2019 and releases in 2020..gonna be bigger than ever @RahulPakala to Direct. @AdiviSesh @AnilSunkara1 @AKofficiial #HBDAdiviSesh.” (sic) While Sashi Kiran Tikka directed the first film, it is revealed that writer Rahul Pakala, who penned the screenplay for first film and ‘Kshanam’, along with Adivi Sesh and the director, will be directing the sequel.
Adivi Sesh too shared the news on his social media, thanking fans for the birthday wishes and wrote, “Thank you for the lovely wishes. Scripting begins for a Bigger. Badder. Better. #Goodachari2 #Goodachariwillbeback @peoplemediafcy @vivekkuchibotla @AnilSunkara1 @AKofficiial @AAArtsOfficial @AbhishekOfficl @RahulPakala.” (sic) While Sricharan Pakala composed the music for ‘Goodachari’, it remains to be seen if he will return for the sequel too.
With the scripting process has already kick-started and shooting to begin mid-2019, with a release in 2020, it remains to be seen if ‘Goodachari 2’ will receive as much love as the prequel did. It would also be interesting to see Supriya Yarlagadda reprise the role of Nadiya Qureshi on-screen and if Abburi Ravi will return as the writer for this one too.
