After Nishabdham, Anushka Shetty to team up with director Mahesh P?

Among the contemporary Telugu actresses, Anushka Shetty was the first one to prove the point that heroines don’t lose their market after 35 years. Post the box office success of Arundhati, Anushka only preferred working with proven filmmakers, her next film Nishabham is directed by Hemant Madhukar, who made Vastadu Naa Raju and Mumbai 125 KM.
The latest update on Anushka Shetty’s next is that she has given her nod to act in filmmaker Mahesh P’s script.Mahesh had previously helmed by Ra Ra... Krishnayya, starring Sundeep Kishan, Regina Cassandra, Jagapathi Babu and Kalyani. The untitled film will be bankrolled by a popular production banner. Anushka, however, has not commented on the rumours yet.
Mahesh is currently busy finalising the cast and crew. The pre-production work has also been simultaneously kick-started by the team. Once Anushka Shetty completes the promotional work for Nishabdham, the principal shoot of her new film will begin.
Nishabdham, jointly bankrolled by People Media Factory and Kona Film Corporation is scheduled to release on April 2. Anushka will be seen essaying the role of a mute artist Sakshi in the film. Apart from Anushka Shetty, the film also features Madhavan, Michael Madsen, Anjali, Subbaraju, Shalini Pandey and Srinivas Avasarala.
