Amavasya: Sachiin & Nargis Fakhri’s horror-thriller to release alongside Yatra

After starring in the 2018 bilingual action-thriller ‘Veedevadu’ and bankrolling the Tamannaah starrer ‘Next Enti?’, actor-cum-producer Sachin Joshi is revisiting the Telugu audience once again with the dubbed version of his latest Bollywood horror-thriller ‘Amavas’ titled in Telugu as ‘Amavasya’. The first look posters and the recently unveiled trailer of the spooky film have generated good curiosity and interest among the local audience.
Presented by Viiking Media Entertainment, the makers have decided to release the film on February 8 alongside YSR biopic ‘Yatra’. The original Hindi version is also hitting the theatres on the same day. Starring the gorgeous Nargis Fakhri as the female lead, the video promos prove that the film is loaded with several spine-chilling moments.
Amavasya showcases Sachiin and Nargis as a romantic couple who visit their deserted summer mansion on a holiday. The eerie proceedings in the haunted house force a sense of impending doom for their newly found love. They begin to get affected by the evil spirits surrounding them.
Helmed by Bhushan Patel, the supernatural thriller stars Mona Jasbir Singh, Ali Asgar Agha, Navneet Kaur Dhillon and Vivan Bhathena in pivotal roles.
