Amy Louise Jackson is a British model and actress who has been modelling since the age of 16 and won the Miss World Teen in 2009. It was then that director AL Vijay noticed her, and cast her for her debut Tamil film, ‘Madrasapattinam’. She was cast opposite Arya in the 1947 period film which depicted her as a British Governor’s daughter who falls in love with a village boy. Consequentially, Amy won praises for her performance, and she soon signed Gautham Menon’s ‘Ekk Deewana Tha’ in Hindi, remake of his hit film, ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’. Through the years, Amy Jackson has worked in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films like the Vikram starrer ‘I’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Singh is Bliing’. 2017 has been an exciting year for the sexy lady, with her bagging a role in the English TV series ‘Supergirl’ as Imra Ardeen/Saturn Girl. The stunning actress has also been cast in the much-awaited sequel of ‘Robo’, titled ‘2.0’, opposite Rajinikanth and ‘The Villain’. Amy Jackson was all set to star in the Tamil, Telugu and Kannada remakes of ‘Queen’, portraying the role that Lisa Haydon played in the original, that of a carefree single mother. But she chose to opt out of it due to her commitments to ‘Supergirl’.
