After sharing an all-smile picture alongside Kollywood superstar Vijay Sethupathi on Instagram, popular host-cum-actress Anasuya Bharadwaj followed it up with working still from her debut Tamil film. Confirming her entry into the neighbouring film industry, she captioned the pic as “Living through another good story. #newBeginnings #Kollywood #Tamizh 🧿🤞🏻🥰” While the 35-year-old diva didn’t give away any details regarding the movie, speculations are rife that she is essaying a pivotal role in Sethupathi’s project.

In the latest monochrome picture, saree-clad Anasuya looked close to late actress Silk Smita, the queen of sensuality and a favourite among the masses in the 80s and 90s.

Recently, the first look of Anasuya’s upcoming film ‘Thank You Brother’ has been unveiled to a decent response from netizens. Directed by Ramesh Raparthi, the poster features a pregnant Anasuya and Viraj Ashwin leaning against each other in a lift. Besides this content-driven project, she is essaying a pivotal role in Krishna Vamsi’s Ranga Marthanda. Speculations are also rife that she has been roped in for big-ticket films like Pushpa and Acharya.
