‘Miss Shetty, Mr. Polishetty’ signifies
Anushka Shetty's return to the big screen after a five-year hiatus. The movie, featuring
Naveen Polishetty in the leading role, hit theaters on September 7 and garnered favorable reviews. According to a report, the film grossed an estimated Rs 4 crore on its opening day in cinemas.
The Telugu film, which has also been dubbed in Tamil, amassed Rs 4 crore net across all languages in India on its initial day of release.
‘Miss Shetty, Mr. Polishetty’ recorded a 39 percent occupancy rate for Telugu audiences on Thursday, with Tamil occupancy standing at 18.16 percent. As per other sources, the movie raked in over $300,000 in the US on its opening day.

Shah Rukh Khan's highly anticipated action film ‘Jawan.’ It achieved a historic feat by becoming the highest-grossing Hindi opener of all time, with earnings of approximately Rs 75 crore in India on its opening day across all languages.
