‘Arjun Suravaram’: The Nikhil starrer gets a new release date; distribution rights sold out for a record price!

Tollywood actor Nikhil Siddharth’s ‘Arjun Suravaram’, which completed all the necessary formalities, got postponed to this summer. As the election campaigns started all over AP and Telangana, Telugu audiences are in no mood to watch the films over the political drama which is happening in two states.
It was supposed to release in the second week of April, however, due to clash between several much-awaited films it was postponed to March 29.Now, many distributors and producers are requested actor Nikhil to release the film on May 1. Nikhil also got convinced by the new date and heartily agreed to the same. It gallantly helps ‘Arjun Suravaram’ to get huge openings as there are no big releases on the same date. Moreover, Mayday is a holiday that will be the added advantage to this investigative thriller.
When it comes to the film’s business, ‘Arjun Suravaram’ has got pretty good numbers. Sunil Narang of Asian Cinemas has acquired the Nizam distribution rights for Rs 4 crores. It has also been sold out for Rs 6 crores in Andhra and Ceded, and overseas rights for Rs 1 crore.
