Sreenivas recalled how he was enamoured by the character of Chatrapathi as a kid when he watched the original movie in his seventh grade. He shared that he used to mimic the character, mouth his dialogues, and even dance like him. His passion for the character and the movie stayed with him for days. He hopes that the audience watching the remake will feel the same way and take back the characters with them.
Sreenivas also spoke about his meeting with Prabhas before starting the movie, where the latter boosted his confidence and told him that he would pull off the role perfectly. Sreenivas shared that this kind of encouragement from Prabhas was a big boost for him and made the journey of playing Chatrapathi even more special.
The young actor also talked about the trend of pan-India films, where actors from different regions come together to make a movie. He believes that it's a beautiful thing as it brings the best experiences for the audience and unites talent across regions. He gave examples of some of the recent collaborations, including Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee, Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif, and Sandeep Reddy and Ranbir Kapoor.
Sreenivas also responded to the criticism that action dramas in the South film industry often glorify violence. He believes that movies can give people a moment to forget everything and be consumed by another world. He cited the example of action films that keep the audience completely hooked to the screen, creating the magic of films.

Finally, Sreenivas addressed the topic of nepotism in the film industry. As the son of producer Bellamkonda Suresh, who has bankrolled most of his projects, Sreenivas shared that film families are a common thing in the South Indian film industry. He believes that what matters is making great cinema at the end of the day, and all the discussions around nepotism are temporary.
Directed by VV Vinayak, Chatrapathi's Hindi remake also stars Nushrratt Bharuccha, Bhagyashree, and Sharad Kelkar. The movie is set to release in cinemas on May 12, and fans are eagerly waiting to see Sreenivas's Bollywood debut.
