Cameo crazy or just a gimmick?

When actor Ram Charan revealed that Amitabh Bachchan will be making a special appearance in the remake of Zanjeer, it naturally created a flutter of sorts in T-Town. In fact, this news comes close in the heels of a whole lot of announcements in T-town, revealing a new version of cross branding ��� get another star into the mould. Little wonder then, it is raining cameos, special songs, and voiceovers in Tollywood.Even the AP law minister, Erasu Pratap Reddy did a cameo in Operation Duryodhana 2. We will however, stick to only the stars for now.
Cousins in arms
Superstar cousins Ram Charan and Allu Arjun sharing the screen for the first time in Yevadu is being pitched as one of the USPs for the die-hard mega fans. Allu Arjun is doing a cameo in this Charan-starrer. Besides the novelty factor, this seems to be a little prelude to another movie starring the two young guns of the mega family stable!
Rana special for Ajit
Rana Daggubati is all set to make his Tamil debut soon in director Selvaraghavan���s upcoming movie, but that will not be his first appearance in a Tamil film. Rana will actually debut in a cameo. He is doing a special role in Ajith���s upcoming action flick directed by Vishnuvardhan. Rana has been quoted saying how great it is to be sharing the screen with Ajit as he has always admired the Kollywood actor.
Triple delight
NTR Jr���s next movie has set a new benchmark as far as special appearances go. Superstar Mahesh Babu is lending his voice for a narrative track in the movie on good friend and director Sreenu Vaitla���s request. That he is on great terms with NTR Jr too is no secret in Tollywood circles. What���s more, Tamil actor Simbhu sang a special song in the movie. But that���s not all, Siddharth will be seen doing a special appearance as well! More the merrier isn't it? Maybe, that���s why Ram Charan was the special guest at the launch of the movie.

Filmmakers Raj and DK roped in upcoming star Nani to do a voiceover ��� his first ever ��� for the Varun Sandesh and Sundeep Kishen-starrer crime comedy, D For Dopidi. We are guessing this is just for the novelty factor.
