Charmy Kaur, born Surdeep Kaur, is a well-known face in the South Indian film industry. Through the years, ever since her debut in 2002 with ‘Nee Thodu Kavali’, Charmy has acted in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi films, apart from Telugu.
Charmy was only fifteen when she made her debut in 2002. Through the years, she has acted alongside major stars and still made a name for herself. Known for her roles in films like ‘Mass’, ‘Chakram’, and more, it was her 2005 film ‘Anukokunda Oka Roju’ that changed things around for the actress.
Through the years, Charmy has acted in a lot of films including ‘Zila Ghaziabad’ with Vivek Oberoi and ‘Buddah Hoga Tera Baap’. Charmy has won many awards during her acting career, including Nandi, and has in the recent years formed a production house along with Puri Jagannadh called ‘Puri Connects’.
Charmy is as of now, working behind the scenes on Puri Jagannadh’s next film ‘Mehbooba’ with which he’s launching his son Akash Puri alongside Neha Shetty. The film was shot in picturesque locales of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan. Charmy is also starring alongside Vikram and Samantha in their upcoming film ‘10’.
