See you on January 23, 2026.”Bollywood filmmaker and actor Anurag Kashyap, too, has showered praise on the trailer.Directed by Sharan Kopishetty, ‘Cheekatilo’ is an upcoming crime thriller featuring Sobhita Dhulipala in the lead role. She plays the role of Sandhya, a criminology graduate and true crime podcaster. Set in Hyderabad, the film revolves around Sandhya, who is on the hunt for a serial killer. “At its heart, this movie is more than a crime suspense; it is a reflection on resilience, the fight against silence and power, and the courage it takes to bring justice to the front,” Sharan Kopishetty, director and co-writer of ‘Cheekatilo’, said.
