Comedian Priyadarshi Pullikonda to turn director?

After showing his comical stint in Vijay Devarakonda starrer ‘Pelli Choopulu’, Priyadarshi Pullikonda has become one of the busiest comedians in Tollywood. The actor has been doing films, irrespective of its genre and budget.
It is worth mentioning that he is making a debut as a lead with the biopic of Padma Shri Award winner Chintakindi Mallesham who is the inventor of the ‘Asu machine’ that processes silk yarn mechanically.It’s a challenging role for him as the film will be an emotional roller coaster ride.
According to Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam, he is all set to make his directorial debut with a different genre film. The ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’ director, who graced the audio launch event of ‘Mithai’ as a chief guest revealed that the talented comedian would helm a film. However, we will have to wait and see is that true.
‘Mithai’, starring Rahul Ramakrishna and Priyadarshi Pullikonda, is directed by Prashant Kumar and produced by Prabhat Kumar. Touted to be a dark comedy, the film is all set to hit the theatres on February 22, 2019.
