It’s already evident that popular comedian-cum-character artist
Prudhvi Raj is a vocal supporter of the YSR Congress Party and a hardcore admirer of the newly-elected Chief Minister
Jagan Mohan Reddy. From the past few days, speculations were rife that the 54-year-old actor was shown the exit door from
Allu Arjun’s untitled project with
Trivikram Srinivas. Grapevine suggests that his harsh comments on
Pawan Kalyan,
Chiranjeevi and Nagababu during the election campaign has forced the Mega family to ignore him.
However, the talented actor clarified on the issue by stating “I was never approached for the film, so there is no question of throwing me out of it.” Refuting reports of an alleged rift with Mega heroes, Prudhvi said, “I’m presently working with Chiranjeevi garu in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and there’s totally no truth that I had an issue with Mega family.”
Sharing that he maintains good relations with everyone in the film fraternity, Prudhvi Raj opened up on his political comments. “We criticise each other in politics, but these are not personal accusations. Politics will not impact the industry at any cost.”
Popular for his role of "30 Years Industry" in Krishna Vamsi’s ‘Khadgam’, Prudhvi stated that he was upset over media targeting him and urged everyone to not believe in such baseless rumours.
