Recently, the makers shared that the film has surpassed the $1 million mark at the US box office, a remarkable feat for a film of its scale. The makers on X (formerly Twitter) sharing the news wrote, "This MADness has no boundaries. #MADSquare proudly crosses the $1 million milestone in the USA and keeps on going."
Domestically, the films on Day 1 earned Rs 8.5 crore in India and Rs 18 crore worldwide. By Day 3, the film had accumulated Rs 25.5 crore in India alone, and the film grossed over Rs 55.2 crore in those days.
The makers wrote, "Theatres are shaking, crowds are roaring, and the MAD gang is ruling. #MadSquare grosses 55.2 Crs+ in 3 days, and the repeat audience fever is spreading like wildfire."
Occupancy trends
The movie has maintained strong occupancy rates across Telugu-speaking regions. On Sunday (Day 3), it recorded an overall Telugu occupancy of 53.20%, with afternoon and evening shows witnessing peak attendance. Cities like Hyderabad, Vizag, and Vijayawada contributed significantly to its success.
Directed by Kalyan Shankar, the film reprises the roles of Sangeeth Sobhan, Narne Nithiin, and Ram Nithiin as it continues the story from the prequel.
