‘DevaDas’: The Nani-Nagarjuna starrer gets ‘U/A’ certificate

The Nani-Nagarjuna starrer ‘DevaDas’ has received a ‘U/A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The film will now hit the screens on September 27 this weekend. The official Twitter account of the production house reveals the news.
It reads: “#DevaDas censored with 'U/A'. Meet Don Deva and Doctor Das in your nearest theatres in another two days @iamnagarjuna @NameisNani @iamRashmika @aakanksha_s30 @SriramAdittya @VyjayanthiFilms #DevaDasOnSept27th’’.

Tipped to be a comedy-drama, the film features Akkineni Nagarjuna as a don and Nani as a doctor while Rashmika Mandanna and Aakanksha Singh are playing their love interests.Directed by Sriram Adittya, the film also stars Kunal Kapoor, Naveen Chandra, Murali Sharma, Srinivas Avasarala, Vennela Kishore, Prabhakar, R. Sarathkumar and Satya in supporting roles.
While the music has been composed by Mani Sharma, Shamdat Sainudeen has cranked the camera and Pudi Prawin has edited the film. C Ashwini Dutt has produced the film under his home banner Vyjayanthi Movies.
