‘Dhurandhar’ composer Shashwat Sachdev makes Telugu debut with Ram Charan-backed film

Shashwat Sachdev is riding a career high after the massive success of Dhurandhar, and the composer is now stepping into Telugu cinema with a high-profile project backed by Ram Charan. The musician — whose songs and background score became one of the film’s biggest talking points — is making his Tollywood debut with The India House, a pan-Indian project that has already generated strong industry buzz. With Dhurandhar firmly behind him, Sachdev is now expanding his footprint in Telugu cinema.Dhurandhar proved that a tightly written, gripping story can deliver blockbuster numbers across languages. The film has grossed over Rs 1,000 crore in India and recently premiered on Netflix in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, where it quickly climbed to the top of the streaming charts, according to 123Telugu. Music played a central role in the film’s momentum. Shashwat Sachdev’s songs and background score sharpened key moments and kept the pacing taut. Trade chatter has frequently credited the soundtrack as a major reason audiences returned for repeat viewings.
