Ram Charan’s upcoming movie ‘Peddi,’ directed by ‘Uppena’ fame Buchi Babu Sana, is gearing up for release on June 4, with the trailer release scheduled for May 18. As the promotions have started, director Buchi Babu Sana shared some interesting things about the film and how it was approved.
Buchi Babu Sana said many people think Megastar Chiranjeevi listens to every story first before Ram Charan accepts a movie. But he clearly said that did not happen in the case of ‘Peddi’ as per a report by 123Telugu. He revealed that Ram Charan himself took the final call after listening to the story.
Buchi Babu Sana talkes about story narration
The director said, “I told the script to Charan sir. He hugged me instantly and told me that we are doing the film.” He said Ram Charan liked the story very much from the beginning itself.
Buchi Babu also shared that he narrated the story of Uppena to Chiranjeevi earlier, but not ‘Peddi’. He said, “Not even once did Charan sir ask me to narrate the story to Chiru sir. It feels great because even my guru Sukumar sir gave the Rangasthalam narration to Megastar garu, but I didn’t”.
Chiranjeevi heard story later
Buchi Babu further explained that Chiranjeevi only heard small parts of the story after the project was already locked. He said, “After the project was okayed, Chiranjeevi garu asked me to narrate the story in bits and pieces. ”
But the director wanted the Megastar to experience the film directly on screen.
He added, “I decided to show him the film in one go and watch his reaction directly.”
