‘Double iSmart’: Sequel to ‘iSmart Shankar’ registered by Puri Jagan and Charmee

Maverick filmmaker Puri Jagannadh is in desperate need of a successful film to prolong his survival in the Telugu film industry. With no reasonable hit since Junior NTR’s ‘Temper’ in 2015, the dashing director has teamed up with ‘Energetic Star’ Ram for the upcoming action-entertainer titled ‘iSmart Shankar’. Bankrolled by Puri and Charmme Kaur, the shooting of the film has already kick-started last month.
According to confirmed sources, Puri Jagan and actress-turned-producer Charmee have registered the title of ‘Double iSmart’ at the Film Chamber in Hyderabad. The film will be helmed as the sequel to the current ‘iSmart Shankar’. Excited with the film’s output and narrative, Puri seems to have taken this bold decision. An official confirmation is awaited from the veteran filmmaker.
Ram is playing a typical street-smart guy in ‘iSmart Shankar’ and will reportedly speak Hyderabadi slang. Starring an ensemble star-cast with actors like Puneeth Issar, Satya Dev, Milind Gunaji and Ashish Vidyarthi in pivotal roles, the Mani Sharma musical features the gorgeous Nidhhi Agerwal and the ravishing Nabha Natesh as the two leading ladies.
Recently, Ram gifted the world’s more expensive coffee called ‘Kopi Luwak’ to Puri.
