Kavya Thapar Arrested: 'Ek Mini Katha' actress Kavya Thapar gets arrested in Mumbai

Model turned actress Kavya Thapar who is known for her work in Telugu films ‘Ek Mini Katha’ starring Santosh Shoban and ‘Ee Maaya Peremito’ has been reportedly arrested by the Mumbai Police on Thursday morning (Feb 17) following a drunk and drive case and making an accident with one person injured.
She has been remanded and is currently in judicial custody. She has been also booked under the brawl with the police for using abusive language against the police officials.Report further states that the actress had consumed alcohol when the accident took place.

The 26 years old actress started her showbiz career with ad commercials for lifestyle and travel brands and also starred in numerous music videos. She made her acting debut with a 2013 short film ‘Tatkal’. And her full-time feature with a 2018 Telugu movie ‘Ee Maaya Peremito’. She also made her Tamil film debut with the 2019 film ‘Market Raja MBBS’ alongside Arav.
The actor is reportedly shooting for an anthology series now titled ‘Kaali Peeli Tales’ starring Vinay Pathak, Sharib Hashmi, Gauahar Khan, and others playing pivotal roles.
