It was a sea of grief stricken people at Filmnagar, as the funeral cortege of D Ramanaidu wended its way to the studio, where the body was kept so that people could pay homage to the departed film producer.
Huge portraits of Ramanaidu were erected on the road connecting Filmnagar junction to the studio, which seemed shrouded in a pall of gloom.Rana seemed inconsolable and broke down when his friend Ram Charan walked in. Senior actors Brahmanandam, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Jaya Prada, were also seen breaking down into tears as they bid adieu to their beloved Naidugaru.
