Farhan Akhtar makes singing debut in Telugu for 'Bharat Ane Nenu'

Bollywood star, actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar has crooned a song titled 'I Don't Know' for Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu's upcoming film 'Bharat Ane Nenu'. This is the first time that Farhan will be singing a Telugu song and his announcement sent fans into a tizzy, and it soon started trending on social media. "Farhan ane nenu first time Telugu lo padanu for Bharat Ane Nenu (This is Farhan and I've sung in Telugu for the first time for Bharat Ane Nenu)...hope you like it," Farhan said in a video message.
A delighted Mahesh Babu took to Twitter to thank Farhan for his contribution to his much-awaited film. "Thank you @FarOutAkhtar 🤗 Simply loving it!! Welcome to the Telugu Film Industry 🙏🏻 (sic)," Mahesh Babu tweeted.

Farhan too, was equally pleased to be a part of the political drama and thanked Mahesh Babu and Devi Sri Prasad for the opportunity. "Thank you for the opportunity @urstrulyMahesh .. pleasure to sing for you, @ThisIsDSP, your film and all the fans. #BharatAneNenu (sic)," Farhan Tweeted.

The Bollywood star had a special mention for composer Devi Sri Prasad, popularly known as DSP. " @ThisIsDSP thank you .. it’s your belief & perseverance in response to my anxiety that shaped the studio session.. big hug #BharathAneNenu#IDontknowfromtomorrow (sic)," he tweeted.

Directed by Koratala Siva, 'Bharat Ane Nenu' features Mahesh Babu in the role of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister. Also starring Kiara Advani as the female lead, the film is slated to hit screens on April 20.
