Filmmaker Harish Shankar receives heartwarming birthday wishes

Director Harish Shankar is celebrating his birthday today on March 31. The filmmaker has made a name for himself with his action-packed movies. His first directorial effort Shock which had Ravi Teja in the lead role did average business at the box office. However, he rose to fame with the 2011 action-comedy Ravi Teja, Richa Gangopadhyay, Deeksha Seth and Nagendra Babu.
Harish Shankar’s Gabbar Singh, starring Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan, was released in 2012. Till date, the action-drama is one of the highest grossers in the Telugu film industry. He also helmed Subramanyam For Sale (2015) with Sai Dharam Tej and Regina Cassandra, and it was also a huge box office success. He had teamed up with stylish star Allu Arjun for Duvvada Jagannadham, which was not only declared a super hit at the box office and but grossed approximately Rs 115.10 crore in its theatrical run.
Harish Shankar’s recent hit was Gaddalakonda Ganesh. The film starred Varun Tej Konidela and Pooja Hegde in the lead. He is set to collaborate with Power Star Pawan Kalyan for PSPK 27. As the Tollywood’s favourite director rings in his 41st birthday on Tuesday, birthday wishes poured in for him from all corners.
