First Look: VV Vinayak turns into a protagonist for Seenayya

It’s already evident that popular director VV Vinayak is making his celluloid debut as a lead actor with an untitled project bankrolled by ace producer Dil Raju. The film has been titled as Seenayya and on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, the title poster was unveiled by the makers. By shedding several kilos from his body, Vinayak looks super-fit in the mass poster and going by his rustic look with a wrench in hand, he seems to play a mechanic in the film.
Taking the occasion of Vinayak’s birthday (October 9) into account, Seenayya has been officially launched today with a pooja ceremony and renowned director K Raghavendra Rao clapped the muhurat shot. Ace musician Mani Sharma has been roped in to compose the tunes and Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada cinematographer Sai Sri Ram will handle the camera. N Narasimha Rao who has previously helmed the 2018 supernatural thriller ‘Sharabha’ is directing the film and the genre is yet to be revealed.
To prep up for the protagonist’s role, the 45-year-old director has hit the gym and worked rigorously on his body. Besides Khaidi No. 150, none of his recent films managed to impress the audience and he is hoping to strike the right chord as a lead actor.
