First single from Akhil’s ‘Mr. Majnu’ to be out tomorrow

After confirming the release date, the makers of Akhil Akkineni starrer ‘Mr. Majnu’ have announced that the first single will be out tomorrow. The to-be-released song titled ‘Yemainado’ is touted to be a haunting melody. Taking to Twitter, the production house of ‘Mr. Majnu’ posted “Releasing our first single tomorrow at 9AM. A melody which will haunt you for a long time”.
Slated to hit the screens on January 25, the success of this light-hearted romantic comedy is crucial for the Akkineni scion as his first two flicks ‘Akhil’ and ‘Hello’ failed to satisfy the viewers. Except for a song, the entire shooting of the film has already been wrapped up.

While the music is composed by S Thaman, the cinematography is handled by George C Williams. Actor-turned-writer-cum-director Venky Atluri who bagged a solid hit with his debut ‘Tholi Prema’ is helming this new-age film.
Interestingly, ‘Majnu’ was the title of Nagarjuna’s second film which turned out to be a massive hit. ‘Mr. Majnu’ stars Nidhhi Agerwal as the female lead and the 25-year-old bombshell has recently shared screen-space with Naga Chaitanya in ‘Savyasachi’.
