The story of Goodachari revolved around a youth Gopi, who is recruited into RAW is implicated in a plot to kill two RAW officials. Gopi fights to clear his wrong name and find the people responsible for those murders. The sizzling chemistry of the lead pair essayed by Adivi Sesh and Sobhita Dhulipala and plot appealed much to the younger generation and had created an enormous fan base. The film also starred Madhu Shalini, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Supriya Yarlagadda, Vennela Kishore, Anish Kuruvilla and Ravi Prakash in pivotal roles. Sashi Kiran Tikka helmed the film.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Adivi Sesh will be next seen in Major, based on the life of Major Unnikrishnan, who was a hero during the 26/11 attacks. The film will be directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and produced by Mahesh Babu, Anurag Reddy and Sharath Chandra. He has also busy prepping for the sequel to Goodachari.
