Hanu-Man box office collection day 2: Teja Sajja starrer crosses Rs 24 crore, soon to recover its cost

Hanu-Man performed well on its first day at the box office and earned an estimated Rs 12.20 Crore India. On the second day, January 13, 2024, Hanu-man earned around Rs 12.50 Crore India net for all languages. It makes a total of Rs 24.70 Crore in India and with that, the film is expected to recover its cost soon as it's made on a very low budget. Hanu-man had an overall 81.83% Telugu occupancy on Saturday, January 13, as per Sacnilk. Morning shows had 75.75%, afternoon shows had 86.23%, and evening shows had 83.51% occupancy. It had an overall 18.38% Hindi occupancy on Saturday.Directed by Prasanth Varma, the movie features Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Rai, and Raj Deepak Shetty in key roles. The movie is an original Telugu superhero movie, and the VFX, storyline, and action scenes received a decent review from the audience.Recently, Tollywood director Ram Gopal Varma took to his Twitter account to appreciate director Prasanth Varma for making such a low-budget movie with compelling VFX works. While sharing a video to acknowledge Prasanth’s effort, Ram Gopal Varma pointed out that this is going to be a slap in the face of filmmakers who make movies on a budget of 300 to 500 crores. The movie reportedly had a meager budget of Rs 25 crore.
