Here's how the Corona Crisis Charity is helping out daily-wage workers in TFI

The current pandemic has put a stop to the daily wages of the workers in the Telugu Film Industry as film shoots have been stalled. The daily wage workers are in dire straits as basic groceries and vegetables have also become unaffordable for them. In such situation, Tollywood has come to the rescue of the people who are suffering.
Corona Crisis Charity (CCC), headed by Megastar Chiranjeevi has taken up the task of providing essentials to the workers who are out of employment opportunities now.Director and producer Tamma Reddy Bharadwaj said,“Chiranjeevi has always been instrumental in helping out the less privileged. Now, we have decided to provide them with the basic groceries. We will personally go to their houses and make sure that the provisions reach them. Apollo Pharmacy too is part of this initiative and is providing medical essentials. CCC is going to be a permanent charity and at the moment this endeavor of ours is being led by N Shankar who is preparing a list of individuals and families who require assistance.”
N Shankar, the President of the Director’s Association further details, “In the next three days, we will start distributing groceries. Thanks to Charan and Upasana, Apollo has joined hands with this initiative of ours. We also want to let people know that whoever is in need can contact us and we will try our best to help them out. Let’s fight this battle together.”
