‘Hushaaru’ fame Daksha Nagarkar turns into PUBG girl for ‘Zombie Reddy’

Bold beauty Daksha Nagarkar made her Tollywood debut in 2015 with Teja’s romantic drama ‘Hora Hori’ and acquired her maiden success with the youthful comedy ‘Hushaaru’. After a brief gap, the young actress is all set to enthral the Telugu audience by playing the female lead in director Prasanth Varma’s upcoming film ‘Zombie Reddy.’ On the occasion of Diwali, the first look poster of Daksha as PUBG girl was released from the film.

Tipped to be a high-concept project, the latest poster showcases a super-striking Daksha Nagarkar firing on the opponents with an Assault Rifle in hand. Sharing the poster on social media, Prasanth wrote on his handle “GAMERS don’t fear the APOCALYPSE! Launching our Patakha @DakshaOfficial this #Diwali as #PubgGirl #PubgComesToLife in #ZombieReddy” This is his third movie after the critically acclaimed Awe and Kalki.
Meanwhile, it’s already evident that PUBG, a battle royal game developed and published by a South Korean Company, is banned in India under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act.
While child actor Teja Sajja is turning into the protagonist in ‘Zombie Reddy’, ‘Bus Stop’ fame Anandhi will be playing the leading lady. In August, director Prasanth Varma revealed some interesting details about the film and expressed confidence of international recognition. He said “The film revolves around coronavirus and is set up in Kurnool. How people of Kurnool save the world by stopping the pandemic is what my film is all about. It shows Kurnool and its people in a good light actually, so people don’t misunderstand the title.”

Promoted as the first Zombie film in Telugu cinema, Zombie Reddy’s crew includes cinematographer Anith, music composer Mark K Robin, and production designer Sri Nagendra Tangala.
