‘Idiot’ fame Rakshita looks unrecognisable in her latest pictures

Bengaluru beauty Rakshita made her Tollywood debut with Puri Jagannadh’s 2002 blockbuster “Idiot” starring Ravi Teja as the protagonist. Banking on the super success of the actioner, she went on to romance A-list stars like Mahesh Babu, Nagarjuna and Junior NTR in big-ticket films like Nijam, Shivamani and Andhrawala. Post her marriage to Kannada director Prem, the bold bombshell quit acting.
Meanwhile, Rakshita’s latest photos are becoming viral on social media all of a sudden. Currently enjoying her family life with husband and son, the 35-year-old actress gained some weight and looks almost unrecognisable in these pictures. During her prime days in the showbiz world, the dusky diva was the heartthrob of youngsters in the Telugu states.
After quitting films, Rakshita kicked-off her political career in 2012 by joining the Badavara Shramikara Raitara Congress. After serving as the president of its women's wing, she joined Janata Dal (Secular) in 2013 before joining the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2014. Besides producing a few Kannada films along with her husband, Rakshita is making her presence as a judge in several TV reality shows.
