In pics: Jr NTR to Kalyanram, celebs reached Nandamuri Taraka Ratna's residence to pay tribute

Hours after he passed away at Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences in Bengaluru, the mortal remains of Tollywood actor Nandamuri Taraka Ratna are now being taken to his residence in Mokila, Hyderabad. Taraka Ratna’s last rites will be conducted at Mahaprasthanam at 5 pm on Monday. Jr NTR and, brother Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and several other celebrities reached Tarak’s residence in Mokila to pay their last respect.

MP V Vijayasai Reddy was among the first few celebrities who reached Tarak’s house to pay his last respect to him. Actors Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Shivaji Raja, Ajay and ace actor Murali Mohan were also spotted at his residence.




Taraka Ratna was the grandson of the late legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao. He was the cousin of Junior NTR, Kalyan Ram and Lokesh. His father Nandamuri Mohan Krishna is a cinematographer in Tollywood and the son of N. T. Rama Rao. He made his film debut in 2002 with 'Okato Number Kurraadu' under the direction of K. Raghavendra Rao. He acted in about a dozen movies and web series.


He was reportedly keen to contest next year's Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh on a regional party ticket and had joined Lokesh on the first day of padayatra.
