Is Raashi Khanna stepping into Jayaprada’s shoes for NTR’s biopic?

Speculations in the T-town are rife that Delhi beauty Raashi Khanna is almost finalised to portray the role of

Jayaprada

in the most-anticipated NTR’s biopic helmed by talented filmmaker Krish. The 56-year-old legendary actress who enjoyed massive stardom during the 70s and 80s has starred opposite Senior NTR in five films, which includes ‘

Adavi Ramudu

’ and ‘Yamagola’, the back-to-back blockbusters in 1977.

Despite a cameo appearance, it’s rumoured that Raashi Khanna will also shake a leg to a special number opposite Balakrishna, who is reprising the role of his father in this biopic. The mega-budget film already features an eminent star cast with the likes of Rana Daggubati, Vidya Balan, Sumanth, Manjima Mohan, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj, Kaikala Satyanarayana, Rakul Preet Singh, Murali Sharma, Ravi Kishan, and many others in prominent roles.

The

first look

of the Nandamuri scion as Senior NTR stunned the audience and generated immense curiosity on the movie. MM Keeravani is composing the music for ‘NTR’ and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to project the film on a gigantic scale. It is scheduled for a massive Sankranthi release next year.
