According to Hindustan Times, the ‘RRR’ star was injured near his eye while filming an action sequence. It is also reported that he required four sutures for it. The team also confirmed that it is a minor injury and nothing to worry about, as some believed his eye was hurt. The actor has resumed working on set without taking a long rest.

Speaking about the film, ‘Peddi’ is a village-based sports action drama that primarily revolves around a cricket tournament. Ram Charan will be seen in a rugged and long-haired avatar. Additionally, he can also be seen donning a nose ring.

‘Peddi’ also features Bollywood’s Janhvi Kapoor opposite Ram Charan as the female lead, marking her second Telugu outing, after her debut with Jr NTR. The film also includes Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu and Boman Irani among other actors. AR Rahman composed the music for the film. Recently, reports speculated that the makers might drop a teaser titled ‘Kushti’ on Friday, coinciding with Ram Charan’s 41st birthday. However, no official announcement regarding the same has been made yet. Earlier, the makers pushed the release date from March 27th to April 30, 2026.
