K Raghavendra Rao turns TV show host

The reclusive filmmaker has finally decided to come in front of the camera in a show inspired by Inside the Actors Studio
Ever the recluse, veteran filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao is fondly referred as ���Mouna Muni��� (silent sage) of Tollywood. Over a career spanning five decades, the enigmatic filmmaker has hardly ever spoken in public ��� be it about himself or his films.The celebrated director seems to have decided to finally break his vow of silence, so to speak. K Raghavendra Rao is all set to host a television talk show!
The show, we are told, is inspired by Inside the Actors Studio, where several actors, who have worked with K Raghavendra Rao in iconic films of the past, will be talking about their association with the director.
���Both the actor and K Raghavendra Rao will get talking about their respective films every week. The show will be like a trip down the memory lane that will reveal some never-heard-before insights into his career spanning 109 films, including stuff like how he shot certain scenes, the logic behind them and other interesting things which went into making of a film. It���ll almost be like his autobiography,��� says Shobu Yarlagadda, a close aide and relative of the filmmaker.
���Raghavendra Rao has just completed 50 years in the film industry and very few people can match up to his legacy. I think he finally felt the urge to talk about his career; something which he has never done so far,��� adds Shobu.
Interestingly, Raghavendra Rao hasn���t helmed a project in a long time now and he is currently associated with S S Rajamouli���s Baahubali. His last directorial venture, Intinta Annamayya is yet to hit the screens and he hasn���t announced a new film since early 2013.
