Karthika returns to Tollywood

Karthika is back in Tollywood, after a gap of nearly two years. She made her acting debut, along with Naga chaitanya, back in 2009 with Josh and later played one of the lead roles in NTR, Trisha starrer Dhammu. In the past few years, only KV Anand's Ko became a huge hit while rest of her films hardly made any noise.
The latest news is that she has begun shooting for her next Telugu film in Chinni Krishna's direction.Although there were rumours that Allari Naresh and Karthika are pairing up in this film, an official announcement is yet to be made. The film is currently being shot in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Chinni Krishna had earlier made Nikhil starrer Veedu Theda.
Meanwhile, Karthika is also playing one of the lead roles in S P Jananathan's upcoming Tamil film, Purampokku. Arya and Vijay Sethupathi are playing the lead roles in this action entertainer.
