Kona Venkat directing a short film

Ace story writer, Kona Venkat has stated many times in the past that he would eventually like to become a director. The writer is all set to direct a short film soon. The writer turned director is looking for young actors to cast in the movie.
Kona Venkat shared the news on his twitter account saying, ���Plng a short film in New York in July with local Indian talent.Shooting will take place in New York & Newport areas. The short film will be produced by Vamsi Madiraju & Ram Goli of U.S.A under the banner of laughing Buddha entertainments. Looks like Kona is all set to join the ranks of Tollywood writers turning directors.
