Tollywood stars recently attended the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2025 which was held in Dubai. While several fans got the opportunity to click a picture with
Lakshmi Manchu, the moment turned into the actor confronting a troll.
Confronting a troll
In a video making rounds online,
Lakshmi Manchu was seen warmly interacting with the fans and stopped to click pictures with them. However, while she was taking selfies with the fans, a troll in the crowd appeared to make a comment, which seemed to have momentarily spoiled her cheerful mood. Without giving a second thought, she called out the troll in Telugu, "Naa mundu vachi matladu ra, evaru vadu? Time, sense ledu meeku, rascals." Translated, it means, "Who said that? Come and say it to my face. You rascals don't have any sense."

Love from the fans
However, she came back to normal for genuine admirers who affectionately called her "Manchu akka" (elder sister). She then smiled and posed for selfies with the group, trying to fit in the space to get a click with her.
She later walked ahead where several other fans had been waiting to see her. She playfully mentioned that she is not able to hear them, and encouraged them to cheer louder.
She went out of her way to connect with younger fans, asking a little girl her name before clicking a picture, and pausing to take another photo with a child she spotted in the crowd.
Lakshi Macnhu was seen in a glamorous red outfit. She shared multiple pictures from the posting sitting on the chair. She added the caption, "Warning: Highly flammable energy ahead."
Lakshi Macnhu's theatrical trailer premiered
She also shared a reel from her time at the awards function and expressed her gratitude as the theatrical trailer premiered at the event. "Last night was a dream come true! My theatrical trailer premiered at the @siimawards and I couldn’t be more grateful. Every ounce of hard work, every late night, every ounce of effort is finally paying off – and this moment made it all worth it. Here's to chasing dreams and watching them unfold on the big screen!" she wrote.
