Maanas thrilled with varied roles

Maanas, who earlier played lead roles in Jhalak and Green Signal, is kicked about his forthcoming film Kai Raja Kai, directed by Siva Ganesh. The young actor, who is paired opposite Shravya in the romantic drama, plays an unemployed youth.
Talking about his character, the actor says, ���I play a rustic, unemployed guy who comes to the city after landing a job.During my job trials, I happen to play the game, Kai Raja Kai, at a
mechanic���s workshop and my life changes after that.���
The actor is overwhelmed that he���s getting good opportunities at a very early stage of his career. Says the actor, ���I played an orphan in my debut film and a playboy in Green Signal. So I���m really elated to be able to get different roles.���
Maanas also will been as a protagonist in a film that will be directed by Kala Sandeep. ���I play the role of a guy who is always on the lookout for a rich girl to settle down with, and in
director Ramanujam���s film, I will be seen as a mediator, who brings a couple together in a village,��� explains Maanas, who received Nandi award (2004) for the Best Child Actor in the children���s film Hero.
